As a city in the north-east of Victoria, Wangaratta is an urban/rural city with beautiful flora. Glenrowan, one of Wangaratta's three suburbs, is the site of the final siege and capture of Ned Kelly and his gang in 1880. King Valley is surrounded by picturesque hills and rivers. Milawa, the third and final suburb in Wangaratta is the first official 'gourmet region' in Australia. A contemporary fine art gallery is located at the Milawa Cheese Factory, along with a homewares store and Wood Park Wines.
