Tarragindi is a popular residential suburb approximately 9 km from Brisbane’s CBD. Tarragindi is a popular suburb because of its easy access to the Brisbane CBD along the Pacific Motorway and the South-East freeway, combined with great views over both the Brisbane city and Toohey Forest. Wellers Hill Reservoir provides water to the area, as well as some of the best views of the Brisbane skyline. Toohey Forest is approximately 640 hectares of bushland with stunning wildflowers and bushwalks. Griffith University Eco Centre is located in the heart of Toohey Forest and forms part of the Nathan Campus of Griffith University. Neighbouring suburbs to Tarragindi include Greenslopes and Annerley. Greenslopes Private Hospital is the main repatriation hospital for Queensland and offers world class facilities.
