Labrador is located on the northern end of the Gold Coast. Labrador overlooks Southport on its southern border and the Broadwater to the east. Labrador’s borders are also defined by the Gold Coast highway which has been built along the water’s edge. Labrador is known for shallow, still waters which provide great prospects for family recreation and fishing. Labrador was named after a town in north-east Canada, where similar fishing opportunities were offered.
