Ipswich, a region in South-eastern Queensland, isn't too far from Queensland's capital city, Brisbane. With an estimated population of 210,000, Ipswich has an area of 1,090 km² and around 80 suburbs. Situated on the Bremer River, it is approximately 40 kilometres west of the Brisbane CBD. Some popular tourist attractions include Workshops Rail Museums, Pterodactyl Helicopters, and Top of Town. Ipswich was going to be the Queensland's capital, however, Brisbane was better ocean access.
