In the south-west of Western-Australia, Harvey is 140 kilometres south of Perth. May Gibbs, the author of Snugglepot and Cuddlepie, found her inspiration for the endearing book in Harvey. Harvey is home to the replica of Stirling Cottage, a nice, quiet place where visitors can enjoy having a scone and a cup of coffee. With wildflowers blooming during spring around Harvey, the Jarrah Forest, which surrounds Harvey and is abundant with wildflowers, is the perfect place for a walk .
